Will my free zone company pay corporate tax?

UAE Corporate Tax applies to financial years starting on or after 1 June 2023. A free zone company may qualify for a 0% rate on qualifying income only if it meets specific conditions. This depends on your activities and structure, so please take advice from a registered tax adviser.

Can I sell to customers in the UAE mainland?

A free zone licence lets you do business within the free zone or outside the UAE. To sell into the local UAE market you work through a local agent or distributor. You can take part in exhibitions in the UAE without restriction.
