The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has officially unveiled a newly designed AED 100 banknote as part of its Third Issuance of the National Currency project, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to progress, sustainability, and cultural preservation. Built in the 18th century, the fort once served as the seat of governance and a stronghold of security for the ruling family. Today, it stands as a restored heritage site and museum that welcomes visitors eager to learn about the UAE’s roots, tribal history, and traditional way of life.
