UAQ FTZ Launches All-Inclusive Alpha Business Package for Entrepreneurs and Startups

On 15th March 2023, Umm Al Quwain Free Trade Zone (UAQ FTZ) has announced the launch of its innovative 'Alpha Business Package,' designed to streamline business set-up and registration for entrepreneurs in the region. Developed in partnership with the UAQ Government's entrepreneurship programs, the Alpha Business Package aims to encourage new business ideas while minimizing the costs associated with starting a new venture.

The Alpha Business Package offers a one-stop shop solution for business registration, providing comprehensive services tailored to Free Zone Establishments (FZE), Free Zone Companies (FZC), and Branches. With a package cost of AED 13,900 per year, the Alpha Business Package includes both commercial and consultancy/service license types, allowing businesses to access a wide range of activities.

UAQ FTZ have introduced this package to provide fast business set-up, enabling entrepreneurs to focus on growing their businesses. The package includes a premium office facility, one visa eligibility, and a simplified visa application process. Additionally, the package offers 100% foreign ownership, ensuring businesses retain full control of their ventures.

The annual renewal for the Alpha Business Package is just AED 10,500, with non-refundable visa costs and eChannel registration included. Entrepreneurs must utilize the visa within the first year, or the visa and eChannel registration payment will expire.
